SUSH'S RESIGNATION SPEECH
Normally, I start these things out by saying "My
Fellow Americans."
Not doing it this time. If the polls are any
indication,
I don't know who more than half of you are anymore.
I do know something terrible has happened,
and that you're really not fellow Americans any
longer.
I'll cut right to the chase here: I quit.
Now before anyone gets all in a lather about me
quitting
to avoid impeachment, or to avoid prosecution or
something,
let me assure you: There has been no breaking of
laws
or impeachable offenses in this office.
The reason I'm quitting is simple. I'm fed up with you people
I'm fed up because you have no understanding
of what's really going on in the world.
Or of what's going on
in this once-great nation of ours.
And the majority of you are too damned lazy
to do your homework and figure it out.
Let's start local. You've been sold a bill of goods
by politicians and the news media.
Polls show that the majority of you think
the economy is in the tank.
And that's despite record numbers of homeowners,
including record numbers of MINORITY homeowners.
And while we're mentioning minorities,
I'll point out that minority business ownership
is at an all-time high.
Our unemployment rate is as low
as it ever was during the Clinton Administration.
I've mentioned all those things before,
but it doesn't seem to have sunk in.
Despite the shock to our economy of 9/11,
the stock market has rebounded to record levels,
and more Americans than ever
are participating in these markets.
Meanwhile, all you can do is whine about gas prices,
and most of you are too damn stupid to realize
that gas prices are high because
there's increased demand in other parts of the
world,
and because a small handful of noisy idiots
are more worried about bears, birds and bunnies
than about your economic security.
We face real threats in the world.
Don't give me this "blood for oil" thing.
If I were trading blood for oil,
I would've already seized Iraq's oil fields,
and let the rest of the country go to hell.
And don't give me this 'Bush Lied; People Died' crap
either.
If I were the liar you morons take me for,
I could've easily had chemical weapons planted in
Iraq
so they could be 'discovered.'
Instead, I owned up to the fact
that the intelligence was faulty.
Let me remind you that the rest of the world
thought Saddam had the goods, same as me.
Let me also remind you that regime change in Iraq
was official US policy before I came into office.
Some guy named 'Clinton' established that policy.
Bet you didn't know that, did you?
You idiots need to understand that we face a unique
enemy.
Back during the cold war, there were only two
competing
political and economic models squaring off.
We won that war, but we did so because
fundamentally,
the Communists wanted to survive,
just as much as we did.
We were simply able to outspend and out-tech them.
That's not the case this time.
The soldiers of our new enemy
don't care if they survive. In fact,
they want to die.
That'd be fine with me,
if they weren't also so committed
to taking as many of you with them as they can.
But they are.
They want to kill you.
And the bastards are all over the globe.
You should be grateful
that they haven't gotten any more of us,
here in the United States,
since September 11.
But you're not.
That's because you've got no idea
how hard a small number of intelligence,

people have worked
to make sure of that.
When this whole mess started, I warned you
that this would be a long and difficult fight.
I'm disappointed how many of you people

Instead, you've grown impatient.
You're incapable of seeing things

You think that wars should last
only a few months,
a few years, tops.

you actively support those who help the enemy.
Every time you buy the New York Times,

to a cut-and-run Democrat's political campaign,
well, dammit,
you might just as well FedEx a grenade launcher
to a Jihadist.
It amounts to the same thing.
In this day and age,
it's easy enough to find the truth.
It's all over the Internet.
It just isn't on the pages
of the New York Times, or on NBC News.
But even if it were, I doubt you'd be any smarter.
Most of you would rather watch American Idol.
I could say more about your expectations
that the government will always be there
to bail you out,
even if you're too stupid to leave a city
that's below sea level and has a hurricane
approaching.
I could say more about your insane belief
that government, not your own wallet,
is where the money comes from.
But I've come to the conclusion
that were I to do so,
it would sail right over your heads
So I quit.
I'm going back to Crawford.
I've got an energy-efficient house down there,
(Al Gore could only dream of),
and the capability to be fully self-sufficient.
No one ever heard of Crawford
before I got elected,
and as soon as I'm done here,
pretty much no one will
ever hear of it again.
Maybe I'll be lucky enough
to die of old age
before the last pillars of America fall.
Oh, and by the way,
Cheney's quitting too.
That means Pelosi is your new President.
You asked for it.
Watch what she does carefully, because I still have a glimmer of hope
that there are just enough of you remaining
who are smart enough
to turn this thing around in 2008.

WE SHOULD READ THIS EVERY DAY '7%'

3. Life is too short to waste time hating anyone.
4. Your job won't take care of you when you are sick. Your friends and parents will. Stay in touch.
5. Pay off your credit cards every month.
6. You don't have to win every argument. Agree to disagree.
7. Cry with someone. It's more healing than crying alone.
8. It's OK to get angry with God. He can take it.
9. Save for retirement starting with your first paycheck.
10. When it comes to chocolate, resistance is futile.
11. Make peace with your past so it won't screw up the present.
12. It's OK to let your children see you cry.
13. Don't compare your life to others. You have no idea what their journey is all about.
14. If a relationship has to be a secret, you shouldn't be in it.
15. Everything can change in the blink of an eye. But don't worry; God never blinks.
16. Take a deep breath. It calms the mind.
17. Get rid of anything that isn't useful, beautiful or joyful.
18. Whatever doesn't kill you really does make you stronger.
19. It's never too late to have a happy childhood. But the second one is up to you and no one else.
20. When it comes to going after what you love in life, don't take no for an answer.
21. Burn the candles, use the nice sheets, wear the fancy lingerie. Don't save it for a special occasion. Today is special.

26. Frame every so-called disaster with these words 'In five years, will this matter?'

29. What other people think of you is none of your business.
30. Time heals almost everything. Give time time.
31. However good or bad a situation is, it will change.
32. Don't take yourself so seriously. No one else does.
33. Believe in miracles.
34. God loves you because of who God is, not because of anything you did or didn't do.
35. Don't audit life. Show up and make the most of it now.

A holy man was having a conversation with God one day and said,
' God , I would like to know what Heaven and Hell are like.'
God led the holy man to two doors..
He opened one of the doors and the holy man looked in.
In the middle of the room was a large round table.
In the middle of the table was a large pot of stew, which smelled delicious and made the holy man's mouth water.
The people sitting around the table were thin and sickly.
They appeared to be famished.
hey were holding spoons with very long handles, that were strapped to their arms and each found it possible to reach into the pot of stew and take a spoonful.
But because the handle was longer than their arms, they could not get the spoons back into their mouths.
The holy man shuddered at the sight of their misery and suffering.
God said, 'You have seen Hell.'
They went to the next room and opened the door.
It was exactly the same as the first one.
There was the large round table with the large pot of stew which made the holy man's mouth water.
The people were equipped with the same long-handled spoons, but here the people were well nourished and plump, laughing and talking.
The holy man said, 'I don't understand..'
It is simple,' said God . 'It requires but one skill.
You see they have learned to feed each other, while the greedy think only of themselves.'

Wow! What a letter to the editor
This was written by a Canadian woman, but oh how it also applies to the
U.S., U.K. and Australia
THIS ONE PACKS A FIRM PUNCH
Here is a woman who should run for Prime Minister!
Written by a housewife in New Brunswick, to her local newspaper. This
is one ticked off lady.
'Are we fighting a war on terror or aren't we? Was it or was it not
started by Islamic people who brought it to our shores on September 11,
2001 and have continually threatened to do so since?
Were people from all over the world, not brutally murdered that day,
in downtown Manhattan, across the Potomac from the nation's capi tol and in
a field in Pennsylvania?
Did nearly three thousand men, women and children die a horrible,
burning or crushing death that day, or didn't they?
And I'm supposed to care that a few Taliban were claiming to be
tortured by a justice system of the nation they come from and are fighting
against in a brutal insurgency
I'll start caring when Osama bin Laden turns himself in and repents
for incinerating all those innocent people on 9/11.
I'll care about the Koran when the fanatics in the Middle East start
caring about the Holy Bible, the mere belief of which is a crime punishable
by beheading in Afghanistan.
I'll care when these thugs tell the world they are sorry for hacking
off Nick Berg's head while Berg screamed through his gurgling slashed
throat.
I'll care when the cowardly so-called 'insurgents' in Afghanistan come
out and fight like men instead of disrespecting their own religion by
hiding in mosques.
I'll care when the mindless zealots who blow themselves up in search
of nirvana care about the innocent children within range of their suicide
bombs.
I'll care when the Canadian media stops pretending that their freedom
of speech on stories is more important than the lives of the soldiers on
the ground or their families waiting at home to hear about them when
something happens.
In the meantime, when=2 0I hear a story about a CANADIAN soldier roughing
up an Insurgent terrorist to obtain information, know this:
I don't care.
When I see a wounded terrorist get shot in the head when he is told not
to move because he might be booby-trapped, you can take it to the bank:
I don't care.
When I hear that a prisoner, who was issued a Koran and a prayer mat,
and 'fed special' food that is paid for by my tax dollars, is complaining
that his holy book is being 'mishandled,' you can absolutely believe in
your heart of hearts:
I don't care.
And oh, by the way, I've noticed that sometimes it's spelled 'Koran'
and other times 'Quran.' Well, Jimmy Crack Corn you guessed it,
I don't care!!
If you agree with this viewpoint, pass this on to all your E-mail
friends Sooner or later, it'll get to the people responsible for this
ridiculous behaviour!
If you don't agree, then by all means hit the delete button. Should
you choose the latter, then please don't complain when more atrocities
committed by radical Muslims happen here in our great Country!

SPEEDERS
Speedy Seniors
Sitting on the side of the highway waiting to catch speeders, A State P olice Officer sees a car puttering along at 22 MPH. He thinks to himself, 'This driver is just as dangerous as a speeder!'
So he turns on his lights and pulls the driver over.
Approaching the car, he notices that there are five old ladies -- two in the front seat and three in the back -- eyes wide and white as ghosts.
The driver, obviously confused, says to him, 'Officer, I don't understand, I was doing exactly the speed limit! What seems to be the problem?'
'Ma'am,' the officer replies, 'You weren't speeding, but you should know that driving slower than the speed limit can also Be a danger to other drivers.'
'Slower than the speed limit?' she asked. No sir, I was doing
The speed limit exactly... Twenty-Two miles an hour!'
The old woman says a bit proudly.
The State Police officer, trying to contain a chuckle, explains to her that
'22' was the route number, not the speed limit. A bit
embarrassed, the woman grinned and thanked the officer for pointing out her error.
'But before I let you go, Ma'am, I have to ask...
Is everyone in this car ok? These women seem awfully shaken and they haven't muttered a single peep this whole time.'
'Oh, they'll be all right in a minute officer. We just got off Route 119.'

RED FRIDAYS
RED FRIDAYS
RED FRIDAYS ----- Very soon, you will see a great many people wearing RED every Friday. The reason? Americans who support our troops used to be called the "silent majority._ We are no longer silent, and are voicing our love for God, country and home in record breaking numbers. We are not organized, boisterous or overbearing. We get no liberal media coverage on TV to reflect our message or our opinions.
Many Americans, like you, me and all our friends, simply want to recognize that the vast majority of America supports our troops. Our idea of showing solidarity and support for our troops with dignity and respect starts this Friday and continues each and every Friday until the troops all come home, sending a deafening message that every red-blooded American who supports our men and women afar will wear something RED.
By word of mouth, press, TV let's make the United States on every Friday a sea of RED much like a homecoming football game in the bleachers. If every one of us who loves this country will share this email with acquaintances, co-workers, friends, and family, it will not be long before the USA is covered in RED and it will let our troops know the once "silent" majority is on their side more than ever, certainly more than the media lets on.
The first thing a soldier says when asked "What can we do to make things better for you?" is... _We need your support and your prayers._ Let's get the word out and lead with class and dignity, by example, and wear something RED every Friday.
